Neeraj Chhibba announced his arrival on the literary front in 2009 with his first book Zero Percentile – Missed IIT Kissed Russia (ZP1), which went on to become a national bestseller. Widely read and appreciated, it led to the genesis of his second book Zero Percentile–2.0 (ZP2), a sequel as well as one of his first attempts to write about life inside the bubbling Indian software industry.
