Please follow these simple steps to redeem your indiaplaza Gift Certificates:
1. Browse through / Search the store and add your items into the Shopping Cart. Click Save and Continue. Check all the items in your shopping cart and then click on Proceed to checkout.
2.a) You will be re-directed to the register or sign in page if you have not already signed in. Please register if you are a new customer. This is to ensure that the we can keep you informed about the status of the order. Also, this would prevent misuse of the gift certificate.
2.b) If you have already signed in, please select a shipping address or enter a new address. Click on update shipping address and proceed
3. Next, you will be asked whether you wish to pay for your order fully using the Gift Certificates or through a Credit Card.
3.a) Check the box Please check the box if you wish to fully pay for this order through Gift Certificate(s) and click on the Continue button.
3.b) Enter Credit Card details on this page. You card will not be charged at this stage. You can still part-pay for your order using Gift Certificate in the next step.
4. On the subsequent page, enter the 17 digits Gift Certificate number in the box provided. Please do not copy-paste the gift certificate code. Finally, click on the Confirm Order button to confirm your payment.
4.a) You can click on the link Click here to See the Partially used GC Informations to check the status of your partially used gift certificates.
5. If the value of the Gift Certificate(s) you have chosen to redeem is more than the order amount, the excess value will be placed into a Gift Certificate account created for you. You can use the balance amount by entering the same gift certificate code on your next purchase.
6. If the value of the Gift Certificate(s) you've chosen to redeem is less than the order amount and you do not have any other Gift Certificate to redeem, or if it is a non-combinable Gift certificate, then you will be re-directed to the payments page where you can pay the balance amount by the available payment options.
7. You can access your gift certificate details / redemption details by going to your My Account page, and then clicking on View your Gift Certificate Account Link.
Error messages when using your gift certificates
- Error Message: Coupon Id does not exist Solution: Please re-enter the gift certificate code. Do not copy-paste.
- Error Message: User id does not match with the registered coupon user id Solution: The gift certificate code gets associated with the first email id that you registered with. You will not be able to use the gift certificate, if the same gift certificate has been previously used under a different registered email id. This is to protect your gift certificate from mis-use.
- Error Message: Gift coupon will be activated on MM/DD/YYYY Solution: The gift certificate has not yet been activated on the back end. Please try on or after the date mentioned above (MM/DD/YYYY).
- Error Message: Gift coupon expired on MM/DD/YYYY Solution: The gift certificate is no longer valid. In case you believe that the date is incorrect please contact the customer service team on service@indiaplaza.com.
- Error Message: Non Combinable GC Solution: This gift certificate cannot be combined with other gift certificates that you may have for the same order. In case you believe that the message is incorrect. Please try typing the code manually (do not copy-paste). If you are still unable to use this gift certificate please contact customer service team on service@indiaplaza.com with the details of the order number and the gift certificate number.
- Error Message: No balance available for this GC Solution: You have used up the amount available on the gift certificate. Thank you for shopping on indiaplaza.com We hope to see you again soon.
